Eclair was directed by long-time creative collaborator of MikeTeevee, Hugo Keijzer, who has gone on to direct numerous short and long form projects, including feature film, The Occupant (2025). To date, more than 3 million people have watched Eclair on YouTube. Audiences praise the short film for tackling consent and gender norms with humor and sharpness.
