Featured speakers included CNN political commentator Van Jones, former Teen Vogue Editor-in-Chief Elaine Welteroth, The Atlantic contributing writer Jemele Hill and rapper Killer Mike.
In the wake of the death of George Floyd, the event aired at 8:46 a.m. CDT, referencing the duration of how long Floyd was forcefully pinned to the ground by the knee of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin.
